Family does not necessarily mean blood relatives but often a description of a community, organisation or nation.
Through the many changes I have seen over the years, faith, family and friendship have been not only a constant for me but a source of personal comfort and reassurance.

Everyone is our neighbour, no matter what race, creed or colour.
God sent into the world a unique person — neither a philosopher nor a general, important though they are, but a Saviour, with the power to forgive.
We should take comfort that while we may have more still to endure, better days will return: we will be with our friends again; we will be with our families again; we will meet again.
The Bible commands us to pray “for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Saviour, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.” (1 Timothy 2:2-4)
