Fearfully and Wonderfully Made
During a recent medical procedure, I was given the opportunity and the privilege of viewing some of my insides on a screen. The following thoughts arise from this experience.
Creator God, how marvellous are Your works.
Every part of our bodies, even the parts we cannot see, are planned by You.
They come together beautifully and are, indeed, beautiful, with exquisite detail; formed to work fully and in union with the rest of the body.
Father, why do You concentrate on perfecting Your works which cannot be seen or appreciated?
“Child, I am Perfection – a Creator Who builds every atom of you to my master plan.
I can see the beauty of you, the one I have made in My image and with My love.
My Church is My reflection of this body; every part made to work in unity with the others.
Do you feel that your work for Me is lowly and unimportant, unseen and unappreciated?
My beloved, you may be part of the inside of My Body but you are as beautiful as any part which is seen and admired.
In fact, My Body depends on people with gifts like the one I’ve given you. Without you obeying Me and using My gift to you, the Body would be incomplete and wouldn’t flourish in the way that I want it to.
Be encouraged, My child. I will make you to be the best that you can be for My glory and delight You will be My gift to the Body of Christ.”
