What we do
OPEN EARS offers fellowship to those isolated by hearing loss, with no denominational barriers. As a Christian charity, we organise national residential events each year with Scripture teaching from an invited guest speaker.
These events are held at various venues, to give people from different parts of the country as much opportunity to come along as possible.
All our fellowship events are fully accessible to people with hearing loss. A speech-to-text service, British Sign Language interpreter and an induction loop are available.
For more information about the work of Open Ears, please visit the “About” section of the website, where you can download a copy of the OE information leaflet.
————-COVID-19 Information Update—————-
Although residential events may have to be put on hold until 2021, there is an Open Ears Fellowship Group on Facebook which people can join. Simply contact the Administrator by e-mail or phone or by using the Contact button on the website for more details.
NB For your information, the Facebook Fellowship Group is a closed group, i.e. not open to the public. The enquirer will need to e-mail the leader in order to join the group. Our Administrator will advise you as to how to do this.
Open Ears also offers pastoral care upon request via e-mails, so we would be happy to hear from people as to how they’re getting on, especially if they are feeling isolated or lonely at this time. Although we are unable to visit you, do remember – there is a network of prayer support available.
